David P. Citro|
David P. Citro, 50, of Twin Crest Drive, Lehighton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Cathy (Derby) Citro.
He last worked at New England Motor Freight in Lehighton as a truck driver. Prior to that, David worked at their former family owned business, Dean Anthony's Restaurant & Catering in Jim Thorpe.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Jerome and Edith (Baldini) Citro.
He was a graduate of Marian High School, Class of 1982.
David was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill.
Surviving, along with his wife; are two sons, David and Michael, at home; a daughter, Ashley Mattrazzo at home; two brothers, Neal Citro and his companion, Carlene Schulte, of Mahoning Valley, and Jerome Citro, and his wife Sharon, of Mahoning Valley; five nephews, Cori Citro, Vincent Citro, Becky Collura, Amanda Brogan, and David Derby.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Anthony Citro.
Service: Funeral service is on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, White Bear, Summit Hill.
