Mary Buckley, 89, passed away peacefully on Dec. 5, 2012, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Formerly from Jim Thorpe, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Alma (Straubinger). Mary was the beloved wife of Anthony J. Buckley who predeceased her in 2006.
Mary worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad in New York City and lived in Roselle, New Jersey before retiring to Indian Harbor Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Florida.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas, Leo and Edward Williams and a sister, Ellen Boger. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services: Funeral services 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Beach Funeral Home East in Indian Harbour Beach. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Florida. |
