Charles M. Kinek Obituary
Charles M. "Chuck" Kinek, 57, of South Eighth Street, Allentown, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 6, in his home.
He was the husband of the late Robyn Texter-Kinek, who died in 2005.
He was the owner and operator of the Kinek A/C and Refrigeration Co., Allentown, for several years.Born in Palmerton, he was a son of Helen (Krayowski) Kinek of Palmerton and the late Charles Kinek.
He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Palmerton.
A 1973 graduate of Palmerton High School, he was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, having attained the rank of sergeant.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Kathryn A. Horner of Marlton, N.J.; an aunt, Kathryn Schiavone of Nazareth; four nieces, three nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Judith H. Misage, who died in 2006.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Palmerton, with the Rev. J. Michael Venditti officiating. Interment with military honors, St. Vladimir's Lower Cemetery, Palmerton. Call 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
