Harry J. "Butch" Barron, Jr., 65, of New Ringgold, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale. He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna M. (Kline) Barron.

Harry retired from Bethlehem Steel having worked 33 years as a welder. A mechanic, Harry enjoyed working on his own cars as well as helping at Joe's in Tamaqua. He was handy and could fix anything.
Harry relaxed by fishing and doing puzzles.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of Harry Barron, Sr. and Shirley of South Tamaqua, and the late Anna (Welsh) Barron.
He is also survived by his three sons, Harry J. Barron, III and his wife, Lynn of New Ringgold, Norman Nahf of Reading, Scott Nahf of Tamaqua; three daughters, Lynn (Barron) Comisac and her companion, Micky Kunkel of New Ringgold, Terry Barron and her companion, Joseph Alonge of Tuscarora, Tracey (Barron) Horan of Tamaqua; four sisters, Susie (Barron) Demyanovich, wife of George of New Ringgold, Anna Mae (Barron) Augustine, wife of William of Allentown, Carol (Fritz) Fegley, wife of Gene of Cetronia, Beth Ann (Fritz) Faust, wife of Ed of Allentown; three brothers, James Barron and his wife, Rosie of Orwigsburg, Ronald Barron and his wife, Chris of Pottstown; Michael Fritz of York; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Barron.
