Mrs. Dianne Louise Fincham|
Mrs. Dianne Louise (Wehr) Fincham passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, in the Tacoma General Hospital, Tacoma, Wash.
A former resident of Lehighton, she resided in Eatonville, Wash., for the past 16 years with her husband of 44 years, Robert L. Fincham.
She was very proud of the 20 years she spent as an English teacher in the Tamaqua Area High School, and would often speak lovingly of her students and the ways they interacted with her.
After moving to the west coast in 1986, she became an active part owner with her husband in a rare conifer nursery and gained many new friends in another part of the country.
She was a caring and giving person who survived cancer and was free of this dreaded disease, perhaps the proudest achievement of her life.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her father, Thomas Wehr of Lehighton; a brother, Gary Wehr in Florida; and a son, Eric Fincham of Tacoma.
