Mrs. Lucille E. Breiner, 72, of Hunter Street, Tamaqua, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, in the St. Luke Hospital and Health Network, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Bruce F. Breiner Sr.
She worked as a single needle machine operator in the textile industry
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Minnie (Koenig) Henry Swanson and John Henry.
She was of the Protestant faith and was a graduate of the Tamaqua High School.
Surviving are a daughter, Michelle A. Pratt, and her fiancé, John Zaprazny, of Tamaqua; a son, Bruce F. Jr. of Coaldale; two grandsons, Cody A. Brode and Jason M. Zaprazny, both of Tamaqua; and two sisters, Faye, wife of Robert Pastucha of Hometown, and Dolores Wood in North Carolina.
She was also preceded by five sisters, Alberta Hertzig, Betty Conohan, Grace Scott, Joan Carter Cassell and Rosie Sharpe; and a brother George.
Service: Religious service 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, Zizelmann Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Walter W. Breiner officiating. Interment, St. Jerome Cemetery, Tamaqua. Call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday, Zizelmann Funeral Home. Arrangements by Hamilton Funeral Home, Orwigsburg.
