Algetha Uhnak Obituary
Mrs. Algetha M. "Pinky" (Koch) Uhnak, 62, of Walnutport, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in her residence. She was the widow of Paul F. Uhnak, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage before his death last November.
Prior to her early retirement in 2014, she was employed by the Walgreen Co., Hanover Township, where she worked at the distribution center for 20 years. Born in Walnutport on Nov. 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Mary (Koch) DeLong. She was a 1971 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, and traveling in their motor home, of which she had many fond memories.
Pinky will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her loving son, Chad P., and his wife, Tara; a grandson Braxton; five brothers, Larry Muthard of Palmerton, Gary DeLong, and his wife, Anne, of Schnecksville, Barry DeLong, and his wife, Monica, of Walnutport, Darin DeLong, and Kathleen, of Pear River, N.Y., and Brian DeLong of Slatington; and nieces and nephews.
Service: Public viewing 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Dr., Rt. 946, Village of Moorestown, Bath. Interment will be private.

How often to you get to be friends with someone whose smile and voice can brighten you day just be being there. Pinky was that lady. My deepest sympathy to her entire family and her closest friends. May God bring peace to your hearts . She may be gone but will truly never, ever be forgotten.

My deepest sincere sympathy to all. I can't even imagine how you feel losing both your Mom & Dad within A year of each other. My heart aches for you. I feel so helpless down here. We had such a great time when I was up over Labor Day weekend. I'm so grateful I hugged her so tight so many times, I wish I would've never let go. ......
you will all be in my prayers and thoughts always. Just remember, memories keep them alive in your hearts forever and ever , and we all have many many good memories. So when you see that first butterfly in spring you'll know she's sending you a message of how happy her and Paul are until we all meet again .

Words can't express how saddened I am to hear of your loss. I worked with Pinky at Walgreens many years ago. Pinky was a great lady and had such a loving and fun personality. My thoughts are with you and your family during this sorrowful time.
