McKNIGHT, Mollie age 94, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away Friday December 27, 2013 at Kingston of Miamisburg. She was born on December 22, 1919 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Robert and Sarah Gabbard Riley. Mollie married Joseph McKnight on February 27, 1978 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1992. She retired from Carlisle Public Schools as a cook after several years' service. She enjoyed singing and dancing her entire life and made many appearances on Midwestern Hayride. Left to honor Mollie's memory is son, Kenneth White of Germantown, OH; grandchildren, Tonya and Jay McKnight of Longbeach, CA; and sister, Pearl Vohland of Batesville, IN. Besides her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Albert J. McKnight; brothers, Albert Riley, Blackman Riley, John Riley, Roy Riley and Vernon Riley; and three sisters, Malvery Cole, Alpha Davidson, and Mattie Fronk. Visitation for friends and family will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, IN, with funeral services beginning at noon, officiated by Pastor Robert Wackerman. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Dementia Foundation. Personal condolences can be left for the family at www.cookfuneral.com
