News Death Notice AMBURGEY, Luther C. Age 85, of Middletown, Ohio, died Thursday March 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on November 2, 1929 to Hilliard Solomon and Amanda Lee (Shepherd) Amburgey. Luther served in the Army was a lifetime member of VFW Post #7596 in Franklin, American Legion Post #8888, and FOE #528. Luther enjoyed camping and listening to Evan Lanier playing the banjo. He was employed with Armco Steel for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Amburgey; brothers, August Henry Amburgey and Harold Amburgey, sisters, Dorothy Ann Amburgey and Audrey June Amburgey. Luther is survived by his two sons, Dennis Amburgey, Tony C. Amburgey; brother Robert Calvin Amburgey, closest friend and care giver, Alice Campbell; 2 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; special niece, Pam Calhoun. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Monday March 9, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with James Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. CHALFANT, Charles Steven* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice CHALFANT, Charles Steven Age 63, of Hamilton passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital Hospice. He was born April 17, 1951 to Charles Erden and Mary Ellen (Feltner) Chalfant. Charles worked for over 35 years at Kornylak Corporation in Hamilton, OH. He enjoyed building and repairing computers. He was a very hard worker, and will be remembered for his witty humor, practical jokes and impersonations. Most importantly, Charles was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his children, Jackie, Charles, Rebecca, Patricia, Phillip and Angela; fourteen grandchildren; and siblings, John, Larry, and Mary Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Charles; and siblings, Debbie, Gayle, Kathy, and Carl. A visitation will be held from 2:00pm - 4:00pm with funeral services beginning at 4:00 on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, Hamilton, OH. CONLEY, Judy A.* - Ross  
News Death Notice CONLEY, Judy A. Age 73, of Morgan Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday morning, March 4, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on September 25, 1941, in Metamora, Indiana the daughter of Leonard and Viola Myrtle (Davidson) Peters. She graduated from Batesville High School in 1959. In June of 1959, she married Lawrence Conley at Metamora Baptist Church. Judy was a member of Auburn Baptist Church. She loved to read and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by four children, Michael (Grace) Conley, Patrick (Linda) Conley, Daniel (Robin) Conley and Melissa McDermott; fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one sister, Thelma (George) Lawson; a special caregiver, Darlene; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence Conley, and brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana. News Death Notice MALONEY, Zolia M. Age 84 of Athens, TN passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN. The daughter of the late Dewey and Lottie (Stone) Gross was born in Breathitt Cty., KY on January 13, 1931 and preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Maloney; sons Danny Maloney and Ohio State Trooper Kenneth Alan Maloney; grandson Kenneth Alan Maloney II, sister Florence Gross and brothers Littleton, Wiley and Bill Gross. She is survived by daughters Margaret (Herbert) McKnight and Joan Shelton of Middletown, OH, Pat Back of Travelers Rest, SC; sons David (Joyce) Maloney of Etowah, TN and Donald (Loretta) Maloney of Calhoun TN; sisters Violet (Carl) Angel, Thelma Smith, Judy Templeton and brothers George (Joyce) Gross, Walter (Cathy) Gross and Dewey Gross Jr. of Franklin, OH, eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Zolia attended Double Springs Baptist Church in Athens, TN and enjoyed fishing, gardening, doing arts and crafts and being involved in activities at the McMinn Senior Citizens Center in Athens. A private memorial service will be held by the immediate family.
