News Death Notice RECK, Doris Jean 85, of Mishawaka, IN, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 5, 1930 to parents; Joseph and Vina (Parker) Johnson. A longtime Middletown resident, Doris volunteered for many years at Middletown Regional Hospital and for numerous other community and church organizations. She spent the past 12 years living near her son and family in Indiana. Mrs. Reck is survived by her son; Daniel (Colleen) Reck; brother Charles (Marlene) Johnson; 3 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years Richard Reck; sons, David Reck and Dale Reck. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM- SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Michiana Down Syndrome, P. O. News Death Notice RISTER, Jr., Gordon A. Age 37 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1978 in Cincinnati the son of Gordon and Donna Rister Sr. Gordon got his Bachelor's degree in Nursing and was able to become two time National Champion in Tae Kwon Do. He is survived by his two children Owen Rister and Tayha Rister; his parents Gordon and Donna Rister Sr.; two sisters Natasha (the late Billy) Asher and Stephanie Bishop; two nephews Kyle Barker and Zachary Cook; and two Nieces Mackenzie Cook and Haley Lawrence as well as many other family and close friends. ROBINETTE, Randy L.* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice ROBINETTE, Randy L. Age 52, of Hamilton passed away on January 28, 2016 in Orlando, FL. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 19, 1963, the son of Don and Barbara (Sizemore) Robinette. Randy was employed by DFI, Inc. in Palm Bay, FL. He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Robinette; daughter Rena (Tony) Zimmer; two grandchildren, Logan and Lillian; sisters, Renee (Earl) Deaton and Duana (Eddie) Adams; brothers, Dwayne (Bonnie) Robinette and Eddie Robinette; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Robinette. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like extend a special heartfelt thanks to Randy's friends and co-workers at DFI for their love and support.

News Death Notice ROOT, Arthur J. Age 87, of Franklin, Ohio, died Sunday, January 31, 2016. He was born in Greenville, Ohio on December 20, 1928, to the late Jess and Iva (Krieder) Root. Arthur served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of First Christian Church in Franklin. He was employed with Armco/AK Steel for 20 years and retired in 1976. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his great grandson, Travis and 4 siblings. Arthur is survived by his wife of 58 years Barbara Root; two sons, Jeff (Sandra) Root, Jim (Holly) Root; daughter, Judy (Willie) Brown; seven granddaughters, Lindsey, Mallory, Stephanie, Tina, Rhonda, Ashley, Crystal; three grandsons, Matthew, Kyle, Jason; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; two sisters, Bonnie, Ouida; brother, James; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Jamie Renner officiating.
