News Death Notice CALHOUN, Jr., John C. Born April 13, 1946 to John, Sr. and Josephine Calhoun in Middletown, Ohio. Passed away August 29, 2015 age 69. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sarah Frances Calhoun; his mother Josephine Calhoun; two sons: John Mario Everhart and Captain Daryl G. "Poochie" Calhoun, Sr.(Erika); two daughters: Melinda A. Greenwood (James) and Portia D. Watts; three brothers: Jerry Calhoun (Thomasetta), Tony "Buster" Calhoun, and Bruce Calhoun (Bernice); three sisters: Darlene Calhoun, Jenny Southall, and Twana Smith; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and many friends. Was preceded in death by his father John Sr., and one son John III "Man" Calhoun. Friends may call Saturday, September 5, from 10am until time of service 12pm at Tried Stone Baptist Church, 621 Lafayette Ave, Middletown, OH., Dr. Mitchell Foster, Pastor, Interment - Woodside Cemetery. CAUDILL, Russell* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice CAUDILL, Russell Age 70 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born November 27, 1944 in Fusonia, Kentucky the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Fields) Caudill. On December 31, 1983 he married Glenda Frederick. Mr. Caudill was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was well known as an expert carpenter for many years. He is survived by his devoted wife Glenda Caudill; was the beloved father of Michael Caudill, Tina Isaacs, Bobby Isaacs, Kevin Caudill, and the late Daniel Caudill, who passed away on June 5, 2015; and dear grandfather of Taylor Caudill, Tasha Isaacs, and Chelsea Isaacs. A graveside service for Mr. Caudill will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 8, 2015 in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Burial to follow with full military honors. CONRAD, Earl E.* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice CONRAD, Earl E. Age 84 of Collinsville, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, August 28, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on May 14, 1931 to Ernest and Roberta (Mitchell) Conrad. Earl was a 1949 graduate of Seven Mile High School. On September 29, 1950 in Fairfield he married Margaret McCormick. Earl was a retired salesman at Lewis Cigar Company and various other companies. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Camden, delivered Meals on Wheels, and volunteered at Riverview Elementary School for numerous years, where he was known as the Kindergarden Grandpa by the kids. Earl was a member of Collinsville United Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Conrad of Collinsville; two cousins, Jackie Hollowell of Collinsville and Davida (James) McKinney of Hamilton; a special friend and caregiver, Brenda Gray; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a his grandmother, Jessie Kerby. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Gabbard of Collinsville United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00am at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com .

News Death Notice CRAWFORD, Shirley F. Age 72, died at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio, on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She will be remembered for her fun-loving sense of humor and infectious laugh. Born February 14, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio, Shirley was an avid animal lover and dedicated to animal rescue and rehabilitation. She devoted her life to giving a voice to animals, particularly cats, believing that all lives matter and every animal deserves compassion and kindness.She held a number of positions throughout her life including work as a flight attendant and administrative assistant as well as time spent working for the Fernald closure project. Relatives and friends are welcome to remember and celebrate Shirley's life. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Alice Crawford, her brother, Clay Junior Crawford and her great niece, Caroline Jones.Survivors include her sisters Phyllis Jones of Hamilton, Ohio and Joan Ohlinger of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:30 at the Rose Mausoleum Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park 2124 Princeton Rd. Hamilton, Ohio, followed by a memorial service and burial. CUNNINGHAM, Clara Snow* - Middletown  
News Death Notice CUNNINGHAM, Clara Snow Age 92, of Lebanon, formerly of Middletown, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Otterbein Home in Lebanon. She was born December 18, 1922 in Russell Springs, Kentucky, the daughter of Henderson Walker Stephens and Evaline (McQueary) Stephens. She was a member of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church. Clara is survived by three daughters, Priscilla (husband, Darrel) Kendrick of Carlisle, Sharon (husband, Wayne) Davis of Camden and Rebecca (husband, Harold) Roberts of Middletown; four sons, John (wife, Carolyn) Cunningham of Atlanta, Georgia, James (wife, Theresa) Cunningham of Westminster, South Carolina, Charles Cunningham of Kosovo, and Richard Cunningham of La Plata, Missouri; 28 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and a brother, Arvester (wife, Rosie) Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John M. Cunningham; a great granddaughter, Robin Grace; and eight siblings, Ada Dixon, Bessie Stephens, Cora Aaron, Delphia Coffey, Luther Stephens, James Stephens, Martha Bernard, and Arthur Ray Stephens. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at the Healing Word Assembly of God, 5303 S. Dixie Highway, Middletown with Pastor Roger Mullins officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
