MARSHALL, Linda Lou* - Columbus  
News Death Notice MARSHALL, Linda Lou Age 69, of Columbus, peacefully passed away with loved ones at her side on February 21, 2015. She was born to the late Wilma B. and Harold W. Marshall on June 29, 1945 in New Carlisle, OH. Linda is survived by her sister, Nancy (Robert) Manns; 3 nieces, Jodeena, Cheryl, and Nicole; 6 great-nieces and nephews; Judy Stanford her partner of 28 years; and step-brother, William Marshall and his 8 children. Linda graduated from New Carlisle High School and Otterbein College. She was a member of Arbutus Sorority and obtained her degree in Social Work. Linda retired from The Franklin County Welfare Department and The Ohio Department of Human Services. She was a Master Gardner and found peace and God working in her beautiful gardens. She volunteered for over 15 years at OSU Chadwick Arboretum where she served as chairperson and played an instrumental part in the planning of the annual tree and shrub auction. Linda was also a docent at the Columbus Zoo and loved to share her wealth of knowledge about the animals in the North America Exhibit with the zoo visitors. She was a volunteer at Lovers Key State Park in Florida during the winter months. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger RD., where guests are welcome to visit from 1pm-2:30pm. Chaplain Faith Callison, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct., Columbus, OH 43026 or the dog rescue of your choice as well as to The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum, 2001 Fyffe Ct., Columbus, OH 43210. MCCLOUD, Paul Ray* - The Village  
News Death Notice MCCLOUD, Paul Ray Age 92, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in The Villages, Florida. He was born in Rogers, Kentucky and moved to the Leesburg, Florida area in 1999 from Eaton, Ohio. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Paul was pre-deceased by his brothers Herman, Clarence, and Gerald McCloud and Sisters Mildred Prescott and Shirley Oswald. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years Clara "Connie"; Son - Paul Allen McCloud of Liberty, Indiana; Step-daughters Joan (Gerald) Burnett of Gratis, Ohio; and Janis (Randy) Crager of South Point, Ohio; Brother - Daniel (Lois) McCloud of Miamisburg, Ohio; Sisters - Reva Hensley of Westchester, Ohio; Jean Stine of Eaton, Ohio; and Joy (Wallace) Michael of Middletown, Ohio; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge the kindness and compassion they received from the staff at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages and asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Paul's name to Cornerstone Hospice The Villages -601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162. McFADDEN-SMITH, Mary Stanley* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice McFADDEN-SMITH, Mary Stanley [Triplett] 73, died on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Wissler Triplett and Beulah Stanley Triplett. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack Triplett, and husband Chester Smith. She was survived by her daughters Colleen McFadden, Betsy Rader (McFadden), and Jennifer Smith; Sons, Bobby McFadden and Chester Smith; Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mary donated her body to the University of Cincinnati; College of Medicine and will be interred in a University plot at Spring Grove Cemetery. She graduated from Miami University with a degree in Education and was an English teacher at D Russel Lee Career Center, a teacher/principle of the Daytime Center for pregnant teenagers, and taught night school GED classes. Besides her love of teaching, her life was full of her favorite hobbies which included fly fishing, boating, painting, reading and spending time with her family. A remembrance event for Mary will be held on Sunday, March 1st, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Grandfathers Barn at 6901 Stillwell Beckett Rd., Oxford, OH 45056

McGLOTHEN Sr., Michael D.* - Middletown  
News Death Notice McGLOTHEN, Sr., Michael D. Age 68, of Middletown, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 22, 1946 in Middletown, OH to Howard and Emma (Griggs) McGlothen. He was a shuttle bus driver for Lakefront for AK Steel for 25 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed fishing. Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis (Banks) McGlothen; children, Tamara Morgerson, Michael (Patti) McGlothen Jr. both of Middletown; sister, Myrna Fisher of Middletown; grandchildren, Michael (Megan) McGlothen III, Amber Morgerson, Heather McGlothen, Tom Morgerson; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Gwen McGlothen and Norma McGlothen; brother-in-law, Dave Ginter and many nieces, nephews and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Ginter; Bernice McGlothen; brothers, Jim, Mark and Virgil McGlothen; brother-in-law, Darrel Stacy. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. McINTOSH, Arley* - Middletown  
News Death Notice McINTOSH, Arley Age 68, of Trenton, died Monday, February 23, 2015, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born July 9, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Pearl McIntosh and Hazel (Morris) McIntosh. Arley loved country music and enjoyed shining shoes. His life was his work; he loved the Laborers Union Local #534. Through his illness and up to the last days, his thoughts were of his fellow workers. The family wishes to thank the nurses at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, especially Angela and Dana. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley (Shrout) McIntosh; one daughter, Lisa; five grandchildren, David Adkins, Amanda Allen, Tiffany Blue, Brandon Barnett, David Lee McIntosh Jr.; four great grandchildren, Aryanna Blue, Jordan Crider, Jrue Crider, Gabriel Blue; one sister, Nancy Kelley; and two brothers, Ervin and Donald McIntosh. He was preceded in death by one son, David Lee McIntosh; his parents; and one brother, Charles McIntosh. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Breitenbach- McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Cody D. Mullins officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. MEISTER, Carol R.* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice MEISTER Carol R. Age 72, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on January 5, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Martin and Irma (Compton) Nistler. She was educated in St. Peter School, graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1961 and Miami University in 1968. On June 29, 1963 in St. Peter Church, she married James A. Meister Sr. and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2010. She was employed as a teacher in the Hamilton City and Parochial Schools for many years and later employed at Union Central Life Insurance Company retiring in 2003. Carol sold Avon for over 25 years and was very active in Partners in Prime. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Rosary Society and the church choir. She is survived by her children Julie M. Meister, James A. (Melissa) Meister Jr., JoAnn (Kenny) Campbell and Jay Meister; her nine grandchildren Haley, Dalton, Jacob, Wesley, Rachel, Samantha, Adam, Olivia and Jack; one great-grandchild Kenslee; her sisters Charlotte Orschell and Marilyn Schlabach; her brother Ronald Nistler; also many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and niece Becky Werner. Prayers will be Monday March 2, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church, with Fr. Larry Tharp, officiating. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. News Death Notice MILLER, Sandra Lee Age 66, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, after a short illness at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born April 19, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio. She was the daughter of Morton and Rose (Bates) Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ted Miller, Russell (Mary Jane Lang) Miller, Dale Miller; sisters, Eileen (Melvin) Thornsburg, Helen (Carlos) Holbrooke, Loreta Lucas; niece, Rosemary Lucas Brown; and nephews, Timothy Lucas, Chris Miller. She is survived by a special great niece, Logan M. Miller, numerous nieces and nephews and greats; special brother -in-law, Elbert Lucas; and two sisters-in-law, Judy Ballard Miller and Sandy Sams Miller. Graveside services will be held March 6 at 2:00 PM at Woodside Cemetery, Section 29, with Brad Mattingly officiating.
