News Death Notice BRINKMAN, Christopher W. Age 64 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born June 7, 1950 in Hamilton the son of Mary (Durbin) Brinkman and the late Gregory Brinkman. Chris held college degrees from Northeast Oklahoma University, where he played football and Bowling Green State University. He is survived by his mother Mary Brinkman; two sons Matt Brinkman and Luke Brinkman, and his four siblings Tina (Steve) Asher, Spark (Sally) Brinkman, Marie (Tom) Weable, and Duke (Nancy) Brinkman. Chris was also preceded in death by his brother David (and wife Sherry) Brinkman and his nephews David Brinkman, Jr., Adam Brinkman, and Greg Brinkman. A memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday December 20, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, Hamilton. News Death Notice BROWNING, Roberta Age 50 of Millville passed away December 15, 2014, Born November 20,1964, Daughter of Bill and Phyllis (Stacy) Browning. She was a 1983 graduate of Ross High School. She enjoyed reading her bible and crafts. She is survived by her Son Steven Girdler, brothers Danny and Billy Browning, sisters Joann, Vickie, Reva, Kay, and Donna Browning and a host of many loving family and friends Proceeded in death her late father Bill Browning, brother David Browning, sisters Pamela and Linda Browning. Private services will take place at the families convenience.

COFFEY, Robert (Keith)* - Brookville  
News Death Notice COFFEY, Robert "Keith" Age 74, of Bath, Ind. died Dec. 15, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born June 27, 1940 in Hamilton to Robert G. Coffey and Gladys Hammer Coffey. Keith married Dianne Marie Strunck on Feb. 23, 1963 in Batesville. He worked at Oxford Farm Service and was manager of Oxford Lanes, retiring after 35 years. He was a member of the Bath Conservation Club and the Franklin County 4-H Association swine committee. He was an avid bowler, loved to mow and John Deere tractors. Survivors are his wife, Dianne; children, Sue (Kevin) Hoffman of Rushville, Sandy (Doug) Lewis of Beech Grove, Nancy Coffey (Jeff McCloud) of Crawfordsville, Angie Coffey of Bath, and Jeff Coffey of Bath; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Albert (Phyllis) Coffey of Bath, and Donald Gene (Arlene) Coffey of Liberty, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his a parents and an infant sister. Visitation is Friday, December 19 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Big Cedar Cemetery. Family requests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association or Franklin County 4-H. DOYLE, Richard L.* - Middletown  
News Death Notice DOYLE, Richard L. 75 of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, December 16th in Lewisburg, Ohio. He was born on September 11, 1939 in Middletown to Charles Albert & Gladys (Balinger) Doyle. Richard worked as a carpenter for the Carpenter's Local Union for 45 years, retiring in 1992. He formerly worked as a Butcher for Jeffrey's Meat Market and he enjoyed working with and racing horses. He was a member of the Moose, Eagle's, and Oriole's Lodges all of Middletown. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Jim) Belcher and Melissa (Richard) Brown; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; his brothers, Lee, Bill (Kay), Kenny, Bob and Larry Doyle; his sister, Patty Fisher and his former wife, Mary Doyle Manley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Don Doyle; brother-in-law, Bob Fisher and his sister-in-law, Karen Doyle. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, December 19th at 7:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society. KELHOFFER, Roberta* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice KELHOFFER, Roberta Age 91 of Hamilton, Ohio died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on July 3, 1923 the daughter of Alex and Margaret (Steward) Phelps. On December 8, 1950, in Liberty, Indiana, she married Herman D. Kelhoffer and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2002. Mrs. Kelhoffer had worked as a seamstress for Leshner Corporation for twenty-five years, retiring in 1993. Roberta enjoyed flower gardening and with her husband, she raised a produce garden and operated a vegetable stand on Nilles Rd in Fairfield. She was an avid bingo player, and bowler, winning a Pontiac Tempest in a bowling tournament against 13 men at Linden Lanes in 1966. Survivors include her children, David Kelhoffer of Hamilton and Leslie Kelhoffer of Hanover Township; a special friend, Sue Rosenbalm of Hanover Township. Besides her husband, Herman, she was also preceded in death by a son, Dwight H. Kelhoffer on May 28, 1991; seven brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:00AM Friday in the funeral home. PENNIX, Charlene Sue (Lykins) - Lebanon  
Age 62 of Morrow passed Monday December 15, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Born January 15, 1952 in Wilmington, Charlene was the daughter of Eddie and Marie (Hillard) Lykins and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Charlene was a 1970 graduate of Little Miami High School and had worked for Pennix Cement Contractors and Pine Crest Nursing Home as an Office Manager. Preceded in death by her parents and sisters Gayle and Judy, Charlene leaves behind her loving husband Charlie Pennix of Morrow, children Charlie Pennix III (Tyler) of St. Louis, Mo., Shauna (Marcus Stacy) Friskey of Morrow, Jaime Friskey of Morrow and Janna (Craig) Rhoden of Clarksville; brother Rick Lykins, sisters Terry (Rob) Swearingen of Morrow and grandchildren Gunnar, Maggie, William and Jagger. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. SCHNEDLER, Marian L.* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice SCHNEDLER, Marian L. Age 92, of Middletown, died December 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1921 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the daughter of Carl Lindeman and Emma (Walda) Lindeman. Marian was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed adventure travel, and was a member of Wildwood Golf Club and Shovel and Hoe Garden Club. Favorite activities included playing bridge, reading, sewing and crafts, bicycle riding, tennis, snow skiing, and spending time at her family lake cottage with friends. Marian is survived by her daughter Lisa Ann Schnedler; and son, Steven Carl Schnedler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Schnedler in 1997, her parents, and her sister, Ruth L. Vest. Care in her recent years was provided by Comfort Keepers. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 19th at Woodside Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Greg Gibson officiating.
