NAPIER, Pauline* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice NAPIER, Pauline Age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born in Combs, Kentucky on December 20, 1929 to Irvine and Gertrude (Waters) Wooten. On September 8, 1949 in Hazard, Kentucky, she married Finley Napier Sr. who preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her children, Thomas Napier, Junior (Patty) Napier , Jack (Janet) Napier, Terry (Nancy) Napier, Tim (Shelly) Napier, Bonnie (Kenny) Bates, Donna (Elijah) Allen, and Brenda Benge; brother, Ed Wooten; sister, Dorothy Gremillion; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Finley Napier; son, Ronald Napier; grandchildren, Doug Allen and Elijah Allen; great grandchild, Angelina Napier-Bernardino; brothers, Gwynn and James; sister, Ailene Osborne; and her parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. NEWTON, George (Craig)* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice NEWTON, George "Craig" Age 88 of Hamilton, passed away at Tri-County Extended Care on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 4:44 AM. He was born in Hamilton on October 27, 1926 the son of Earl and Thelma (Craig) Newton. Craig was employed as a postal clerk for 31 years, retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of World War II with the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946. On April 4, 1947 he married Lena "Louise" Smith. Louise preceded him in death on February 5, 2013. He is survived by five children; Mark (Renee) Newton, of Cincinnati, Rick Newton of Hamilton, Darryl (Vicky) Newton of Hamilton, Randy (Pam) Newton of Hamilton, Terry (Shirley) Newton of Hamilton; his brother, Dr. Charles (JoAnn) Newton; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be held at the Butler County Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM. News Death Notice TRIBBEY, David W. David W. Tribbey, 61, of Monroe, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Hamilton on January 26, 1954. David worked for Armco/AK Steel for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He loved his family very much and being involved with his grandkids. Mr. Tribbey is survived by his wife of 43 years, Johanna (Bauer) Tribbey; son, Tavis (Rhonda) Tribbey; daughter, Tabitha (Michael) Dillon; four grandchildren, Alexandra, Joshua, Madeline & Hannah; great grandchild, Joscelyn & was excited about the upcoming birth of his new great granddaughter, Avery; mother, Mildred Lawson; two brothers; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. TRIBBY, Vernon Lee* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice TRIBBY, Vernon Lee Passed away March 29, 2015 at the age of 87. Vernon was employed at the Debold Company for 42 years and enjoyed driving his classic cars to many cruise-ins and car shows. He leaves behind his beloved wife Charlene Tribby; daughter Karen Lee; his sister Lucille (Robert) Sizemore and step-sons Rick, Tim and Mike Cornett. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria (nee Songer) Tribby. Vernon will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends as well as his dear Boston terrier, Muffy and Pekingese Joey and Tammy. Visitation will be 11am to 1pm Thursday April 2, 2015 at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton Ohio 45011. WHITAKER, James (Larry)* - Kissimmee  
News Death Notice WHITAKER, James "Larry" Larry Whitaker passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Spring Hills Assisted Living Center in Kissimmee, Florida. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 6, 1940 to Roy and Tevis Whitaker. Larry was educated in the Hamilton schools and attended the University of Cincinnati. He graduated with a B.S. and M.S . from Western Kentucky University. He was a member of the Missouri Valley Championship Tennis team and later the Ohio Valley Conference Champion Tennis Team. He also won Hamilton City Tennis Championship. His mentor for tennis was Jim Johnston who won numerous city tournaments. Larry taught School in Ohio and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While in South Florida, he became the teaching pro at Tuscawilla Tennis Club. There, he co-founded the Ladies Tennis League, which grew to 60 teams. When the club was sold he returned to teaching at Gateway High in Kissimmee, Florida and coached the tennis team. Larry retired in 2002 and continued to play tennis until cancer struck in 2010. In retirement, he also became an avid world traveler. He visited over 60 countries. Larry enjoyed the many relationships developed through activities of the First Christian Church. A memorial service is to be on Thursday April 2, 2015, followed by burial in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery in Kissimmee. WINSTED, Evelyn C.* - Ross  
News Death Notice WINSTED, Evelyn C. Age 67 of Ross, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. She was born on July 2, 1947 in Lafayette, Indiana the daughter of Ray and Cora Mae (Ellis) McWhorter. On September 26, 1964, she married Earl Winsted, Jr. She was employed at Hillman Fasteners and Avon for many years. She was a longtime member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Fairfield. Evelyn enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Earl Winsted, Jr.; her step-mother, Maxine McWhorter; two children, Earl G. (Barbara) Winsted, III and Sandra M. (Kevin) Wilmer; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters; and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt.
