FANGMAN, Kathleen M. (Formerly Haven)* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice FANGMAN, Kathleen M. (Formerly Haven) Age 56, passed away on December 6, 2014. Kathy was born on October 31, 1958 in Hamilton to Jack and Janice (nee Mulford) Fangman. She was a 1977 graduate of Fairfield High School. Kathy is survived by her loving brother, Kenneth (Lisa) Fangman; nieces, Sarah (Jason) Spencer and Jessica Fangman; nephew, John J. Fangman; great niece and nephews, Mackenzie, Andrew, and Jacob. She is also survived by her former husband Steve Haven; brother in law, Ronnie (Lori) Haven; nieces, Lauren, Lindsay, and Laci Haven. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be December 20, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at the Walt Westrich Hall, 6465 Okeana Drewsburg Rd., Morgan Twp. 45053. FIELDS, Nora* - Franklin  
News Death Notice FIELDS, Nora Age 90, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born February 21, 1924 in Jeremiah, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Wesley and Millie (Whitaker) Caudill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Fields and 12 siblings. Nora is survived by her three daughters, Millie (Ronald) Stewart, Naomi Stafford, Constance (Jerry) Fath; two sons, Virgil (Debra) Fields, Coleman Fields; sister, Bertha Anderson; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Centa Caudill, Laura Fields; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nora was a charter member of the Little Family Church in Jacksonburg, Ohio. She was also a homemaker and retired from Franklin City Schools. Funeral service will be Monday, December 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Elder Foster Akers officiating. FLISHER, Mildred Ann (Bea)* - Charlotte  
News Death Notice FLISHER, Mildred Ann "Bea" 84, of Charlotte passed away on November 26, 2014 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Mrs. Flisher was born on April 21, 1930 in Portsmouth, NH to the late John Rooney and Agnes McCartan Rooney. Bea spent much of her early life in the Portsmouth area, afterwards moving with her Navy family to Groton, CT, Rota, Spain, Indian Harbour Beach, FL and lastly Charlotte, NC. She worked in Civil Service for the United States Government for most of her life. In her retirement Bea spent her time volunteering in and around the Melbourne, FL area at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Meals On Wheels and Daily Bread. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Flisher; one daughter, Margaret Carrigan; five sisters, Hilda Rooney, Agnes Mae Rooney, Eileen Teresa Rooney, Veronica Jane Rooney, and Bette Rooney; and four brothers, John Rooney Jr., Gerald Francis Rooney, Patrick Rooney, and Hugh James Rooney. She is survived by four sons, George Stewart of Mt. Vernon, MO, James Stewart of Palm Bay, FL, Mark Caise of Gales Ferry, CT, and John Flisher of Mooresville, NC; one daughter, Davida Varney of Somersworth, NH; fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The Flisher family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the assisted living and rehabilitation facilities that helped make her final years productive, safe, healthy and happy. These include The Fountains of Melbourne, HomeAide of Brevard, Gentiva Rehabilitation Services, Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital, Life Care Center of Melbourne, Life Care Center of Palm Bay, and The Haven in Highland Creek. News Death Notice FLORES-ORTIZ, Yesenia Syriah, Siclali Joseline, Alexander Chase Yesenia Syriah Flores-Ortiz age 12, Siclali Joseline Flores-Ortiz age 10, and Alexander Chase Flores-Ortiz age 7 of Hamilton passed away tragically on Friday December 12, 2014. The children are survived by their loving parents Ismael and Crystal Flores-Ortiz; siblings Brianna Flores, Lucy Flores, Ismael Flores-Ortiz, and Anthony Flores-Ortiz; grandparents Leonardo Flores, Ricarda Flores-Ortiz, Karen Terry; uncles Mario Flores, Manuel Flores, Victor Flores, Hugo Vivian, Rafael Flores, and Joey Begley; aunts Yesi Flores, Juana Flores, Kenya Flores, and Rachel Hoskins, and numerous family members here and in Mexico. Also surviving are special family friends who are more like family, Karen and Jeff Eikens- We Love You! The children were preceded in death by their grandfather Jerry Terry, and their brother Ricardo Flores-Ortiz. The children were members of Princeton Pike Church of God and the Freedom Chapel Church. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the Hamilton police officer who prayed with us- we will always honor that; also thanks to the Hamilton Firefighters and first responders, Fort Hamilton Hospital for their care and support, namely Allison and Larry; everyone on the 5th floor at University Hospital for their care and support of Ismael; thank you to the whole community for showing such an outpouring of love and honor to our family, and most of all to our children. Also, special thanks to Princeton Pike Church of God and Freedom Chapel Church for all of their prayers and donations- you will always be in our hearts! News Death Notice GENTRY, Sr., Thomas Leon Born March 28, 1935 in Waco, KY to Leon and Mary Francis Gentry. Mr. Gentry was reared and educated in Portsmouth, Ohio. Mr. Gentry is a United States Air Force Veteran, and he worked for the Middletown Police Department until retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. He passed away December 16, 2014 age 79. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Anna M. Gentry; son: Thomas L. Gentry, Jr., daughters: Laura Gentry and Vivian Covington; brother: Curtis Gentry; sister: Betty Orr, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. News Death Notice GOFORTH, Dortha (Dottie) D. Dortha D. Goforth, 79, of Middletown, died Friday, December 12, 2014, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Canel, Kentucky on April 18, 1935 to parents Arza and Lucinda (Spencer) Williams. Dottie worked for 47 years at the Middletown Journal as supervisor in the composing room, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Crosspointe Church of Christ and volunteered for many years at Miller Ridge Elementary School. Ms. Goforth is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Paul) Lawwill; sons, Jim (Pam) Goforth and Jeff Goforth; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family at Crosspointe Church of Christ. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Estil Collins, Ezra Collins and Billy Williams; sister, Dorma DeBord; former husband, James Goforth and daughter-in-law, Jodie Womack. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH.
