GRAYS, Josephine Marie*  
News Death Notice GRAYS, Josephine Marie Age 91, of Franklin, Ohio, was called to her Heavenly home Tuesday September 1, 2015. She was born in Berea, Kentucky on July 4, 1924 to Elmer and Ida Kate (Poff) Parker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin and lifetime member Women's Auxiliary of the DAV in Franklin. Josephine was the last daughter of ten children and she was also preceded in death by her father, Elmer Parker, mother, Ida Kate Parker, husband, James E. Grays, son, William E. Grays, daughter, Phyllis Jean Sprague, brothers, Vernon Parker, Edward Parker, Jim Parker, Dean Parker, sisters, Peg Dushane, Molly Price, Lou Miller, Stella Powell. Josephine is survived by her two daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Gutridge, Karen Grays; two sons, Jim Grays, Tom Grays; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Herschel (Francis) Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Summit Family Physicians, and Crossroads Hospice. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Friday September 4, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Darren Parker officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. GREEN, Betty* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice GREEN, Betty Age 82, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky on October 2, 1932 the daughter of Thomas P. and Lillian (Cornett) Lincks. Betty was a 1950 graduate of Hamilton High School. On April 14, 1956 in Hamilton she married Larry Green. Betty was employed as a stenographer at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, and later as office manager at Ohio Casualty Credit Union. She attended Grace United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends, and loved spending time with her card club friends. Betty had a great love for family; even in her passing they were brought closer together. Her face lit up with a smile for friends who visited her in her last days. She is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Larry Green; her children, John E. (Pamela) Green of South Bend, Indiana, Shelly L. Green of Hamilton, and James E. (Judy) Green of Mason; and grandchildren, Sara (Brian) Hazelton, Austin Green, and Shelby Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Henrietta Brown and Georgia Esther Lincks. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave. on Wednesday, September 2nd from 10:00 AM to time of funeral service at 12 noon. Private burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Betty's family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Krall and all the many people who provided care during her illness. HEET, Bernard H. (Whitie)* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice HEET, Bernard H. "Whitie" Age 88, of Liberty Township, passed away 1:05 AM Friday, August 28, 2015 at Westover where he has been a patient for the past eight months. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on November 21, 1926, the sixth of seven children born to Joseph and Elizabeth (Herndon) Heet. Whitie attended St. Stephen Grade School and was a 1945 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. He served His country with honor during WW II as a Sergeant in the Army Air Force - 71st AAF BU 104th Weather Group. He was employed at Baldwin Lima Hamilton Corp from 1947 - 1960 and at the Mosler Safe Co. until retiring in 1985 as Data Processing Manager. On June 23, 1951, in St. Mary Church, with his brother, Rev. Alan Heet O.F.M. officiating, he was united in marriage to Betty L. Brehm. Whitie enjoyed playing ball with both shop and church leagues, golf and bowling. He served as coach for his son's baseball and basketball teams. He also enjoyed time spent in Daytona Beach, Florida. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty L. Heet; son, Joe (Pam) Heet of Lexington; three daughters, Connie (Doug) Cullen of Charlotte NC, Kathy (Steve) Bartram of Marco Island, FL and Nancy (Bob) Mauro of Liberty Township; ten grandchildren, Beth Glasmeier Bisig and children, Andrew, Blake and Dylan Bisig of Suwanee, GA, Susan Glasmeier (Chris) Wood and children, Sophie, Charlie and Lucy Wood, Kim Kiley Brown (Jason) and children, Carter and Kensie of Dublin, OH, Kari Kiley of Columbus, OH, Patrick Kiley and Kevin Kiley of Fairfield, OH, Adam Lawall, Jenna and Jaclyn Mauro of Liberty Township, Stephen Heet (Whitney) and son Wiley of Lexington; brother, George Heet of AZ; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Rev. Alan Heet O.F.M., Betty Brickner (Richard), Elma Truster (Warren) Rita Heet and Bill Heet (Virginia). Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Colligan Funeral Home and Monday, August 31, 2015 at St. Julie Billiart Church from 9:30 AM - 10:15 followed by Mass of Christian Burial. JONES, James Howard* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice JONES, James Howard Age 92 of Fairfield passed away Friday August 28, 2015. He was born February 1, 1923 in Corbin, Kentucky the son of the late Samuel and Della (Howard) Jones. Jim was a great man, humble in spirit, interested in the lives of all who knew him, and a faithful man of faith. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia, daughters Lois and Lynn, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters Zola, Wilma, and Naomi, and two brothers Sam and Willard. He will be greatly missed. Jim served as a U. S. Marine in the Pacific during World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart. He is a long time resident of Fairfield, Ohio, where he was a math teacher and assistant principal at Fairfield High School. His life will be celebrated at a small service at Valley Chapel Community Church, 6369 Dixie Highway, Fairfield on Sunday August 30, 2015 with visitation starting at 3:00 PM and funeral service at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts in Jim's memory be directed to Valley Chapel Church. News Death Notice KUSNESKE, Pamela Jean 53, of Franklin Township, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at her home. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 26, 1962 to parents John Homer III and Gladys Ann (Bledsoe) Docherty. Pam was a member of Holy Family Parish. She had worked in many capacities over the years, owning her own embroidery business Stitches Unlimited, LLC, but her main focus was always her family. Mrs. Kusneske is survived by her husband, John Kusneske; children, Sarah (Joseph) Flanagan, Bridget Kusneske, Allison (Joseph) Bruggeman, Kate Kusneske & Warren Kusneske; granddaughter, Keelan Pamela Flanagan; parents; sister, Susan Lynette Morningstar; and brothers, John Homer Docherty IV & James Docherty. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Wayne Docherty. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father Adam Puntel and Father John Civille as celebrants. LANE, Ann* - Ross  
News Death Notice LANE, Ann Age 85, a resident of Ross for over 58 years, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 28, 2015 at her home. She was born on December 14, 1929 in Manchester, Kentucky, the daughter of Frank and Aura (Jones) Bush. On February 20, 1957, she married Clifford Lane in Indiana and together they raised three children. Ann was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Ross. She is survived by her children, Marvin Lipps of Franklin, Ohio, Josephine Sanders of Ross, and Randy (Tammy) Lane of Ross; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Hargrove of Tennessee and Nora Marcum of Lebanon, Ohio; one brother, Bill Bush of Collinsville, Ohio; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her parents; four sisters; and one brother. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery. News Death Notice LAWSON, Rosy Age 84 of Hamilton passed away Sunday August 30, 2015 in her home. She was born April 3, 1931 in Hamilton the daughter of the late Sid and Emma (Bowling) Hicks. On November 2, 1945 in Covington, Kentucky she married Mitchell E. Lawson, Sr., and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2009. Mrs. Lawson was a devoted housewife and mother and was a member of the Greenhills Baptist Church. She is survived by her children Marietta (Larry) Waters, Loretta (Stanley) Waters, Vicki (Charles) Chesnut, Mitchell E. (Delores) Lawson, Jr., Denny Lawson, Emma (Jack) Davidson, Zella (Richard) Haag, Clifford (Caroline) Lawson, Roger Lawson, and Curtis (Jamissa) Lawson; 36 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren, and one sister Catherine Johnson. Mrs. Lawson was also preceded in death by her daughter Patsy Emmert. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. LAWWILL, Paul G.* - Lexington  
News Death Notice LAWWILL, Paul G. 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 30,2015. Paul was born in Winchester, Kentucky in 1921 to Dempsey and Nuna (Martin) Lawwill. He served in the Civil Conservation Corp as a teenager in Idaho and Washington during the depression. In 1940 he married Christine Colliver and they moved to Middletown, Ohio. Paul worked as a tool designer at Aeronca Manufacturing for 45 years. He was a member and served as an elder at Springhill Church of Christ. Paul loved and excelled at golf. Paul is survived by daughters Jenny Bredar and Nancy Moser and husband Hank, son Paul D. Lawwill and wife Pam; five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Christine. Plans for a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Park for Wednesday at 11 am were arranged by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in Lexington.
