BAKER, Donna Lynn Shell went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her family, suddenly Thursday October 24, 2013. She was born on August 25, 1948 to Delmer and Ada Pearl (Philpot) Shell. She grew up in Hamilton, OH graduating from Talawanda High School and Miami University with Honors in Sociology & Criminal Justice. She worked for Butler County Children's Services for 30 years and is still fondly remembered by many foster children for being the one person who cared for them when no one else did. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. She was a faithful friend and prayer warrior. She lived her life for her family. Her father, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are beyond blessed to have had her in their lives. The one thing she will be remembered for most is always having a smile and an encouraging word. She leaves behind to celebrate her life her father Delmer Shell, children Cathie (Tommy) Stevens, Susan (Chris) McCord, and Brian Baker (Jennifer Spinks). Grandchildren TJ, Cara, Cristin, Catelynn, and Ty Stevens; Sarah, Taylor, Shelby, and Joshua McCord; Christopher (Jessica) and Cody Baker. Great-Grandchildren Emilyann Taulbee and Kendis Stevens. Brother Terry (Deloris) Shell, niece Stephanie (Zach) Cochran and children. She also leaves behind many who considered her their own mother. A life celebration will be held on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the New Life Vineyard Church 2470 Princeton Rd. Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
