News Death Notice

HEHL, Juanita A. age 80 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday January 4, 2014, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on May 16, 1933, in Hamilton, to Earsley and Mary (Waltner) Rice. On August 15, 1987, she married William M. Hehl. She was a truck driver for Dittman Distributing for over 15 years and retiring in 1984. She was involved in the Moose Lodge 183, Eagles 407, American Legion 138, Order of the Eastern Star 195, VFW 1069 Fairfield, where she was the District President, Chairman of the Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen Scholarship Programs, The Butler County Republican Party for 17 years as the Precinct Chairman and member of the Central Committee, The Grand President of Ohio Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary, and VIN CORRY 86. She is survived her children Mary Smith of Hamilton, Cindy (Harold) Coggins of Monticello, AR., Kevin Bunger of Fairfield, Keith Bunger of Ft. Meyers, FL., and Kirk (Shirley Leiser) Bunger of Fairhope, AL.; one brother James (Betty) Rice of Marietta, GA., and numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, and daughter Yvette Bauer, and granddogs Shadow, Buddy, Patches and Snowball. Funeral Service will be held Thursday January 9, 2014, at 10 AM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2014, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home, with a VFW and The Military Order of COOTIES doing a Memorial Service at 8 PM.
