News Death Notice

VANDYNE, Sean Wesley Eugene age 18 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:27 PM. He was born in Hamilton on October 18, 1994 to Danny and Lynn (Haag) VanDyne. Sean was an honors graduate at Hamilton High School, class of 2013. He was a freshman at Miami University Oxford in the Farmers School of Business. Sean was an assistant manager at Skyline Chili. He was a charismatic natural leader who was caring and generous. He married his best friend since the 7th grade, Rachel Hildebrand, on August 17, 2013. He was a loving husband, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. Sean was always ready with a joke to lift your spirits. He loved to read, (especially Harry Potter). He had a special interest in Renaissance Art. He was always in the kitchen turning leftovers into wraps. You could always see Sean wearing his sunglasses day or night. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Nicole VanDyne; his parents Danny and Lynn VanDyne; his brother David (Rachel) VanDyne; great-grandmother Eva Carbary; Nana Allene Wyatt; father-in-law Todd Hildebrand; mother-in-law Debra Crawford; brothers- in-law Zach Hildebrand and Steve Largent; grandparents, Earl (Sue) Hildebrand, and Joseph (Cleo) Crawford; aunts and uncles, Romona Schatzley, Robert (Kristi) Haag, James Wyatt, Cindy (Kenny) Keith, Carla (Donnie) Sterwerf, Vicky (Larry) Harris, Debbie Detzel, Lou Ann Hildebrand, Bill (Lisa) Hildebrand, Lavanda Baker, Joe (Missy) Crawford, Jeff Crawford; nephew Danny VanDyne II, niece Kimberly VanDyne, and nephew Elijah Largent; his dogs who were like his children, Storm, Raider, Delilah, Chevy, and Thor; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10AM with Pastor David Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 5PM-9PM at Hamilton High School Gymnasium.
