News Death Notice

GEBHARDT, Joseph M. 82 of Middletown passed away on December 26, 2013 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on February 1, 1931 to Frank L. & Elizabeth (Docket) Gebhardt. He worked as a machinist for Miami Carey and as an Insurance Agent. He served our country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the DAV, VFW and the American Legion and was also a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church all of Middletown. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, June D. Gebhardt and his sons, Chris & Dave Gebhardt. He is survived by his four sons, Rick, Ron, Gene and Danny (Angie) Gebhardt; his daughter, Beth (Pat) Hutchinson; 14 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren and his sister, Rose Baker. Visitation will be on Monday, December 30th from 5-8:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 31st at 10:00 am at St. John's Catholic Church with his nephew, Fr. Paul Gebhardt officiating. Interment will be at the Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
