Olive "Libby" DILLINGHAM Obituary

News Death Notice

DILLINGHAM, Olive "Libby" age 72 of Hamilton, OH. Before recently moving to Ohio, Libby lived in Texas for 33 years. She passed away March 7th in her daughter's home. She graciously waited until her son-in-law and grandson left for work/school before she went to heaven. Libby was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Paul Davison, her husband Carl Dillingham, and one stepson. Libby is survived by her brother Jim (Jan) Davison, two sisters Patty (Frank) Klock, Pam Feager, her children Dennis (Diana) Ray and Tonya (Herb) Mull, and six stepchildren. Libby is also survived by her four grandchildren: Will, Kelsey, and Andrew Ray and a special grandson Warren Mull who made her hot tea just right and had sleepovers on the weekend on the couch by her bed. Libby had a very good friend in Texas, Ruby Solomon, who was like a mother to her. The family wants to thank all the coupon friends who came to visit their mom and help when they needed it. They would especially like to thank her dear friend, Nikki O'Dwyer, for bringing her two children each week to spend time with Libby. Libby looked forward to those weekly visits. Libby also leaves behind her beloved parrot "Princess" who keeps everyone smiling. Libby loved to volunteer at Serve City Chosen of Hamilton. She cooked lunch there on Tuesdays with her daughter and served it at the homeless shelter until she was too sick to go. She helped cut coupons, giving them out to teach others how to save money. Libby donated to the end. She donated her body to U.C. Body donation to help others. There will be a memorial service Sunday March 23rd at Princeton Crossing Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 9044 Canal Way, West Chester OH. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 to 4:30 followed by a service from 4:30 to 5:00. The family would love for you to come celebrate Libby's amazing life with them. Donations can be made in honor of Libby to www.servecitychosen.org or dropped off at 622 East Ave, Hamilton.
