News Death Notice

LINE, Paul L. "Johnny" age 81 of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Born January 5, 1932, in Fairfield Ohio, Paul attended Fairfield High School, served in the United States Air Force military police in France and Germany from 1950 to 1954, and then served with the Hamilton Police Department, retiring as a youth aid detective in 1984. Paul was active with the Taft High School Band Parents, Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and Hamilton Summer Park Band concerts. Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Pauline Line, and his brother Edgar (Korean War), Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rita, children Diane (Chris) and Tom (Pam), sister Willie Kraft, and nephews; Mike, Bob, and Mark Kraft. He also leaves a large extended family, all of whom will miss him terribly. Memorial activities are scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church, N. 6th and Butler St. in Hamilton, beginning at 9:30 am, followed at 10am by a funeral service in the church sanctuary. Interment takes place at Trinity Episcopal immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Hamilton Musicians to support its continued work in the community.
