Ann Berkebile
Ann Berkebile Baither, age 83, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Lakes of Monclova. Born August 7, 1930, in Toledo, OH to Orris and Elizabeth Ann (Perry) Berkebile. Mrs. Baither was
a graduate of the Smead School for Girls (now
Maumee Valley Country Day) in 1948, and attended the University of Indiana, where she majored in Home Economics. She was a homemaker and involved in the community and her family's activities. She served on the board of the Sunset House, was a member of the Ottawa Hills Garden Club and St. Michaels in the Hills Episcopal Church. Mrs. Baither was an accomplished equestrian rider and thoroughly enjoyed everything to do with horses. She cherished the fond memories of boating on the Great Lakes.
Mrs. Baither was predeceased by her husbands, James D. Greek and Charles P. Baither Jr. as well as her parents. She is survived
by her 4 children, C. Philip Baither III (Robin), Pamela B. Geha (Paul Pauline), Martha B. Conrad (Jim), Robin B. Miller (Andy Jamieson); 10 grandchildren, Drew Conrad (Lindsay), John Geha II, Meredith B. Nickerson (Kyle), Rob Baither, Abigail Geha, Jason Miller, Matt Conrad, Elizabeth Conrad, Morgan Miller and Sarah Schlorman (Tony); 2 great-grandchildren, Noah and Hannah Schlorman. She is also survived by her brother, Perry Berkebile (Barb) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Michaels in the Hills Episcopal Church 4718 Brittany Rd. Toledo, OH 43606. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 or a charity of the
