Edward F. Jasinski, age 92, passed away on August 18, 2013, in Dayton, Ohio. Edward was born on September 4, 1920, the only child of Felix and Magdalena (Frasczewski) Jasinski. He was a proud World War II Army Veteran and a Past Commander of Tony Wroblewski American Legion Post #18. Edward was also Past Chef de Guerre of the Legion's 40 & 8 Society. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights of Columbus.

Edward is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia; son, James, daughter-in-law, Susan, all of Dayton; his granddaughters and their husbands, Corey Beth and Tyler Pence of Frisco, TX and Lindsey Ann and Ryan Francois of Nashville, TN. Edward is also survived by his brother-in-law, Eugene Zientara; nephew, Nicholas Zientara, and niece, Nancy (Jack) Tomasewski.

Family and friends may visit Friday, August 23, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the W. K.

Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral services and

entombment with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
