Harmon, Stanley - Ottawa Hills  
HARMON Stanley P. Stanley P. Harmon, 71, of Ottawa Hills, OH, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, in his home in the presence of his loving wife of 48 years, Maxine Harmon. He was a 1961 graduate of the Jesup W. Scott High School and subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Education and a specialist degree in administration and supervision from the University of Toledo. Mr. Harmon was employed as an administrator for the Toledo Public Schools, prior to retiring in 1998, after 35 years of service. He also was an Honorably Discharged veteran of the U.S. Army. Stanley is survived by wife, Maxine Harmon; daughter, Melanie A. Harmon of Mishawaka, IN; brother, Dennis Harmon, and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. A visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2015, from 4-6 p.m. at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, at 1629 Nebraska Avenue. On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Mt. Ararat MB Church, 918 Colburn Street, the Family Hour/Wake will begin at 10 a.m. followed by Funeral Services at 11 a.m. The Reverend John Walthall III, Pastor and Officiant. Helminiak, Gerard - Toledo  
HELMINIAK Gerard E. Gerard E. Helminiak, 60, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2015, in his Toledo residence. He was born in Toledo on January 21, 1955, to Rosemary and Edward Helminiak. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a registered nurse for 35 years at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Margaret) Helminiak of San Antonio, Texas and several cousins. Services will be private. Howell, Juan - Maumee  
HOWELL Juan D. Juan D. Howell 47, went home to glory on June 26, 2015, after a sudden and short illness, with his family by his side. Juan was born March 9, 1968, at Maumee Valley Hospital to the union of LeVon and Barbara Howell. Juan affectionately known as "Boo" by friends and family was known for his infectious half smile and kind and big heart. His love for his family and children was evident at all times. He was the big uncle "Boo" to nieces and nephews. Juan graduated from Devilbiss High School and attended the University of Akron where he played football for the Akron Zips. After college Juan moved to Louisville and operated his own Logistics Company. He then became employed with United Postal Service for 18 years until his illness. He was an active member of St. Stephens Interdenominational Church in Louisville. Juan leaves to cherish and recall his memory his children, Trae Anthony (Asia) Howell, Mya and Jada Howell; his grandsons, Trae Anthony Jr. and Chase Michael; his parents, Barbara Milner and LeVon (Mary) Howell; brothers, Darryle (Donna) Johnson and Anthony (Stephanie) Johnson; sisters, Vikki Jackson and Lisa Howell; stepsisters, Trina Turner, Marla (Timothy) Mack; grandmothers, Mae D. Black, Bertha Gillard, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and many friends. Hudecek, Ann Mary - Toledo  
HUDECEK Ann Mary Ann Mary Hudecek, age 95, of East Toledo, passed away at Lutheran Village Nursing Home, on Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born May 26, 1920, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Anna and John Hudecek. Ann worked at LaSalle & Koch and later for Prestolite, from where she retired. After Ann retired, she took care of her Mom and Dad. She was a member of the Corda Club and enjoyed dancing. Ann also loved traveling, especially to Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Vatican. She was a devout Catholic and was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary. Ann is survived by her sister, Blanche Kusz; 1 niece; 3 nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elizabeth Luebben and Dorothy Nonnenmacher. The Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614. Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with professional services. The family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the church. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Lutheran Village and Senior Independence Hospice for their care and compassion.

Hill, Lloyd - Perrysburg  
HILL Lloyd J. Jr. Lloyd J. Hill Jr., 85, of Perrysburg, OH passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 27, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Lloyd was born October 31, 1929, in Litchfield, Illinois to Lloyd J. and Estella (Schafer) Hill Sr. He served our country in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. Lloyd earned his bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, graduating in 1951. He married Lois A. Heckman on November 7, 1953, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pemberville, Ohio. After marriage, the couple lived in Edwardsville, IL where Lloyd worked for Union Electric Co. in St. Louis. In 1960, the family relocated to Perrysburg, where they lived on Mulberry Street until a recent move to Waterford at Levis Commons. During his career, Lloyd also worked for Campbell Deboe and Solid Fuel Technology as a Consulting Engineer in the power industry, before retiring in 1993. Lloyd's greatest joy was spending time with his loving family. He was especially fond of steam locomotives and took train trips all over the world. Along with his wife, Lois, Lloyd is survived by his children, Cynthia A. (David) Bench, Kenneth R. (Mary) Hill, Jeanne E. (Daniel) Hook, Jeffrey L. (Leslie) Hill and Laura E. (Kevin) Smith; grandchildren, Kurt (Corinna) Bench, Arik (Beth) Bench, Heidi (Derek) Meyer, Sarah (Travis) Matthiesen, Laura (Doug) Lang, Kara Hook, Jacob (Becky) Hook, Hannah and Molly Smith; great-grandchildren, Jed, Josiah, Caleb, Ethan, Arianna, Elias, Tatum, Edith and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, OH 43551. A celebration of Lloyd's life will take place at 1 p.m. with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum, officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Harding, Bruce - Toledo  
HARDING Bruce E. Bruce E. Harding passed away early June 30, 2015, at age 55. After a courageous and positive cancer journey, he went peacefully at Mercy Medical Center. Bruce was born in Toledo, Ohio, spent the majority of his childhood years in Woodville, Ohio, and graduated from Bowling Green State University. After college, Bruce moved to Westerville, Ohio where he met his wife, Cheryl. Following the birth of their two children, Bruce and his family relocated to West Des Moines, Iowa where they have resided for the past twenty years. He worked at Iowa Student Loan for 16 years, spent many years volunteering with the West Des Moines Soccer Club, and enjoyed traveling with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Alexandra (Daniel) Huisman; son, Zachary; mother, Janice Little; brother, Robert (Amy) Little; grandmother, Mildred Norris; sister-in-law, Tammy (Darrin) Clark; nephew, Derrik (Britny) Clark; stepmother, Carol Harding; mother-in-law, Jean Spriggs, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harding; grandfather, Marion Norris, and grandmother, Evelyn Dulemba. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, Iowa.
