Lewis, Brad Anthony - Oregon  
LEWIS Brad Anthony Brad A. Lewis, 29, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Monday, June 20, 2016. Brad was born on August 18, 1986 in Oregon, Ohio to Terry and Deborah (Belcik) Lewis. He was a 2005 graduate of Lake High School, where he was a standout athlete in golf and baseball. He holds the school record for home runs hit in a single season and was second team all-state in 2005. He also excelled at golf, holding many school records and winning many golf tournaments with his father. Brad was musically talented, having a lead role in the high school musical, South Pacific and auditioning for American Idol. His true passion was spending time reading the bible and spending time with his family. Brad is survived by his mother, Deborah Wiedmann; father, Terry (Diane) Lewis II; siblings, Grant (Alexandra) Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Michael (Chelsea) Lewis, Terry D. Lewis III; aunts, Jackie (Jim) White, Beverly (Tom) Chinavare; uncles, James Belcik and Gary Lewis; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Ayva, Aria; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aloysius and Lee Belcik and Terry and Evelyn Lewis; stepfather, Robert Wiedmann; aunt, Cathy Lewis; and uncle, Steve Belcik. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Friday, June 24, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. LASKEY Eileen J. Eileen J. Laskey, 87, passed away June 16, 2016, at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born March 5, 1929, the only child of Benjamin and Stella Laskey in Toledo. A longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Eileen said frequently that “the only family I have left, are the members of Blessed Sacrament”. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church with Monsignor, Michael Billian officiating, where friends are invited to visit after 9:00 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Levey, Phyllis Nadell - Toledo  
LEVEY Phyllis Nadell Phyllis Levey, born June 16, 1934 in the Bronx, New York passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Eva Nadel. She was married to Larry Levey for 59 wonderful years. She was the loving mother of Alison (Jeffrey) Sherman and Debra (Jeff) Kamikow. She grew up in Laurelton, New York. She was a graduate of Hofstra University and taught elementary school in Lynbrook, New York before her daughters were born. After moving to Toledo, Ohio in 1975 she taught at the Hebrew Academy in Sylvania. She took great pride in her students accomplishments over the years. Phyllis was a member of Congregation Shomer Emunim and its sisterhood. Other memberships included Ballen Isles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, and a past member of Stone Oak Country Club. Phyllis was exceptionally proud of her 5 grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua, and Jamie Sherman, Claudia and Evan Kamikow. Her interests included reading, mah Jong, golf, bridge, gardening and an occasional soap opera. Phyllis was very proud that as an adult she became a Bat Mitzvah. In addition Phyllis is survived by her sister, Sally (Stanley) Karlin; brother-in-law, Tony Parker and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Harriet Parker. Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, at Congregation Shomer Emunim, Sylvania, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are preferred to Congregation Shomer Emunim; The Friendship Circle of Toledo or Congregation B'nai Israel Kripke Israel fund. Shiva will be observed Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Levey residence, Sylvania, Ohio. Arrangements by Robert H. Wick/Wisnewski Funeral home (419) 535-5840. Lewandowski, JoAnn  
LEWANDOWSKI JoAnn JoAnn Lewandowski, 77, passed away June 1, 2016, as a result of complications from heart surgery at The Toledo Hospital. She was born in Toledo to Arnold and Suzanne Weitbrecht. JoAnn grew up in Toledo, and moved to Lambertville, MI where she spent most of her life. Married to her husband Robert for nearly 57 years, she was a dedicated wife, mother of two, daughter and sister. JoAnn also worked at Tony's Country Store in Lambertville for more than 20 years. She was healthy and active her entire life and in 1972 was recognized as one of the area's top women amateur bowlers. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, in Lambertville and Port Clinton, OH and in Naples, FL where she and Bob spent the last 20+ winters. Some of her favorite activities included going to the movies, playing bingo and different poker games, and an occasional visit to the casino, always with family and friends. An incredibly giving and kind person, JoAnn will be missed by all who knew her. JoAnn was survived by her husband (Robert - now deceased); daughter, Kelly (Links); her three grandchildren who she loved dearly, Devon Decker (Bitz), Landon Links and Keira Links; sisters, Rose Askam and Mary Lou Alcock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Keith. There will be a visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life (12:30 p.m.) on Tuesday, June 21st at the Pavilion at Bedford Hills Golf Club, 6400 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI. Lewandowski, Robert - Lambertville  
LEWANDOWSKI Robert Robert Lewandowski, 83, passed away June 17, 2016, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. He was born in Toledo to Stanley and Florence Lewandowski. Robert grew up in north Toledo and later moved to Lambertville, MI where he spent most of his adult life. Bob served on the USS Kermit Roosevelt and the USS Kawishiwi for the United States Navy from 1957 to 1960 when he was honorably discharged. Bob was married to his loving wife, JoAnn, for nearly 57 years. He retired as a millwright from Chrysler in Toledo after 30 years of service and was also charter boat captain on Lake Erie for nearly 30 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman for most of his life - he loved to hunt and fish and had a tremendous respect for the outdoors. Bob enjoyed being with his friends and family, in Lambertville as well as in Port Clinton, OH and Naples, FL where he and JoAnn spent the last 20+ winters. In addition to hunting and fishing, some of his favorite activities included bowling, euchre and poker with family and friends and having fish fries at their Port Clinton home. “DziaDz”, as his grandchildren called him, will be missed by all who knew him. Robert is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Links) and Theresa (Pabon); his five grandchildren, Devon Decker (Bitz), Landon Links and Keira Links, Josh Vargo and Jacob Vargo; sister, Barbara Oster. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn and son, Keith. There will be a visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life (12:30 p.m.) on Tuesday, June 21st at the Pavilion at Bedford Hills Golf Club, 6400 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI.
