Dear Rosenberg family,

You have my deepest sympathies. He was a great man and the most incredible mentor to me both at the University of Toledo and in the early years of my reporting and editing career. His guidance -- and friendship -- were priceless to me.

You are in my prayers.

God bless.

I enjoyed talking to Bill in Wildwood park a couple of years ago and was priviledged talking to him in the composing room at the Blade in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Mrs. Rosenberg:

Deepest sympathy. Didn't always agree with Bill but always admired him and his professionalism.
