Betty (Mossburg) Krasner, 90 years, of Bedford Twp., MI passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, in the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Holland, OH. Betty retired from the Jeep Corporation in 1987. The daughter of Henry and Jessie (Hamilton) Mossburg, she was born January 31, 1923 in Collins, IN.
Betty was a strong, woman of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who had the extraordinary gift of expressing and sharing her love for others.
Betty was pleased and honored to represent LVWC in the My Fair Lady Pageant in 2012. She treasured spending time with family and dancing with all her friends, playing bingo, and doing arts and crafts. In her 80s, she was dancing five days a week at all of the senior centers in Toledo and Bedford. She performed at many venues such as Lucas county fairgrounds and Bedford Trade Fair. She was a member of the Bedford Senior Center and a Life member of the Chester Zablocki Senior Center in Toledo.
Betty is survived by her children, Betty Wodarski (Gordon Gosses), Thomas (Karen) Clarke, Bob Clarke, Stan (Rita) Batt, Richard (Mary) Batt, David Batt; stepson, Rowland (Tina) Clarke; brothers, Jerry Mossburg, Jim Mossburg; 9 grandchildren, Tamber, Tara (Tim) St. Aubin, Jason, Amanda, Steve, Kayliene, Trina, Tony, Donald; 11 great-grandchildren, Dustin, Moriah, Isaiah, Jesse, Donnie, Patrick, Brandon, Ryan, Allie, Kain, Kadin; long time close dancing friends, Doris and Gene Levy, Glen LeFever, good neighbor, Donna Cundick, and LVWC good friend, LaVerta Rayman, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Krasner, Rowland Clarke, Joseph Miller;
siblings, Ruth, May, Andy, Bob, Jack, Norman, and longtime companion, Walter Przysiedzi.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where the Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.,
officiated by Rev. Thomas Zimmerman. Cremation will follow. Her remains will be interred in Lambertville Cemetery at a later date.
