Charlotte A. Brown, a lifelong Toledo resident passed away peacefully with family by her side in the Lake Park Comfort Care Unit, Sylvania Ohio on October 4, 2012, at the age of 69. She was the daughter of Arthur R. and Elwilda Mae Culver Woolaver and a graduate of Whitmer High School Class of 1962. A member of the Retail Clerks Local, she was employed by the former Centre Super Markets, Cub Foods and Bargain City until retirement in 1990. An active member of the Lake Park Community, serving on the Resident Council, she also participated in bingo and resident outings. Charlotte especially cherished time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid baker and enjoyed sharing sweet treats with loved ones.

Surviving are her children, Russell R. (Wendy S.) Brown of Sylvania, OH, Michael W. (Mary Pat) Brown of Lambertville, MI, and daughter, Patricia "Trish" (John) Benedict of Novelty, OH; sisters, Laura (Robert) VanKarsen of Galion, OH and Rosalle J. Woolaver of Toledo; grandchildren, Nickolas (Ashley), Eric, Megan and Michael Montgomery Brown, Ellie and Jack Benedict, and great-granddaughter, Madison Ruth Brown.

Charlotte's family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful staff at Lake Park Nursing Facility, especially floors 1 and 5. Words cannot express how grateful they are for the care and compassion they gave to Charlotte through her years as a resident.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 10, 2012, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd. (between Central and Bancroft) with a Celebration of Life service commencing at 6:00 p.m.
