Don Weber, 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Killingworth, CT, on November 24, 2012, with his wife Nancy and his family by his side.

He was born on January 9, 1926, in Toledo, Ohio to parents Edith and Henry Weber. He was predeceased by his brother Robert, and his sister Carol. Don graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo in 1944, and immediately entered the Navy V-12 program, where he served until being discharged in early 1946. He then studied at Ohio State University, and graduated from the University of Toledo with a BS Degree. Upon graduation, Don married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Hoover, on March 29, 1947, and was happily married for 65 years. His entire career was spent in Quality Control for Owens Illinois Glass Company, working in various locations in Ohio and the east.

He loved vacationing with his family, gardening, woodworking, and sailing. Upon retiring in 1983, Don and Nancy built a home in Killingworth, where he took an interest in collecting and repairing antique clocks. He became a member of the American Watch and Clock Museum in Bristol CT, and served on the Board of Directors. He was also a member of the Madison Winter Club.

Besides his wife Nancy, he leaves a son, Richard Brent Weber (wife Cheryl) of Conifer, CO; daughter, Susan Lee Miller of Bethel, CT, and 3 grandchildren, Laura Miller, Ryan Miller, and Emily Miller.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be private, with a memorial at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06406, or online at www.hospice.com
