Doris Ann Coleman, age 60, of Quincy, IL, died Sunday March 30, 2014 in her home surrounded by her three children. Doris was born November 13, 1953 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Roman Robert "Chips" and Lucille Ann Addison Kolinski.
She was a graduate from Whitmer High School in Toledo, OH. Doris attended college at John Wood Community College. She was employed at Wal-Mart and McDonald's. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW
. Doris enjoyed travel, gardening, flowers, and looking at the stars. She loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children: Christopher (Jeanette) Coleman of Quincy, Amber (Von) Lithila of Quincy, and Alexander Coleman of Quincy; seven grandchildren: Richard and Caleb Coleman, both of Quincy, and Autumn, Luka, Ayden, Ellie, and Ethan Lithila, all of Quincy; three sisters: Linda Nyler, Debbie Dusseau, and Marsha Ashman; four brothers: Mark, Robert, Dennis, and Kevin Kolinski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents.
