Frederick L. Hampton-Bey Sr. passed March 31, 2014. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he attended Libbey High School. Born to Geneva Thomas, Ellwood Benard and Sandy Hampton-Bey, he was formerly employed with Toledo Scales and Boch Industries as a machinist. Frederick was a fisherman, artist, avid bowler, self-taught guitarist and friend.

He is survived by son, Frederick L. (Lisa) Hampton II; daughter, Cynthia Ann; brothers, Ellwood Benard Jr. and Michael Branaugh; sister, Marlene; grandchildren, Jane'l and Alisha Nichole Royster, Faith, Evan and Sydney Hampton; great-grandchildren, Tristan Dempsey, Lola, and Savvya Coleman; ex-wives, Sheryl Cunningham and Barbara Tall-Campbell, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, 11 a.m. at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel, preceded by 10 a.m. wake. Please sign registry book at
