Jerie Ann Thompson, age 36, of The Colony, TX, and formerly of Waterville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was born on February 6, 1976, to Jerry D. and Betty S. (Roberts) Thompson. A graduate of Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, OH, she was recently attending Platte Nursing School in Dallas, TX. A compassionate and loving person, Jerie was so looking forward to helping others and earning her nursing degree. She had so many friends that she loved dearly and her sense of humor and beautiful smile would light up a room. Family was the most important thing to Jerie, and her three sweet boys, Maxwell, Gavin and Jack were her life. She loved taking them to their football games and school events and they couldn't wait for holidays to decorate together, especially pumpkin patch picking at Halloween.
Jerie is survived by her sons, Maxwell James (12), Gavin Liam (8) and Jackson Carter (6) McCloud, of The Colony, TX; parents, Jerry D. and Betty S. (Roberts) Thompson, The Colony, TX; sisters, Lorie A. (Philip) Spencer, The Colony, TX, Julie A. (Pat) Zalewski, Waterville, OH; nephews, Blake T. (Sara) Spencer, Patrick P. Zalewski, and niece, Amanda A. (Michael) Showers. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and nephews. She loved you all so much.
The family held a memorial and celebration of Jerie's life in The Colony, TX. A savings account has been set up for Jerie's boys, anyone wishing to contribute may send donations to Jerie Ann Thompson Donation Fund c/o Wells Fargo Bank, The Colony, TX 75056. The family would like to thank special friend, Sarah Swanson for her help with this fund and for caring so much for Jerie's boys, and the generosity of those who have already contributed.
