Judith Ann Patrick, 64, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born, July 16, 1948, to Mary (Bostelman) Myles and the late Charles Myles, of Liberty Center. She married John R Patrick on June 1, 1968, and recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. She was a 1966 graduate of Liberty Center High School. She graduated from Elkhart School of Laboratory Technology in 1968. In 1994 she graduated from Mercy School of Nursing with her RN certification, as valedictorian of her class. She worked in doctors offices in Liberty Center and Napoleon. She then answered her call to become an RN with hospice of Northwest Ohio for 5 years. She then retired and continued her service by volunteering with hospice in Archbold, Ohio. Judy also volunteered her time and talents to quilting for various charities. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church in Napoleon, Ohio. She participated in the parish nurse program for members. Judy's passion for nursing was only exceeded by her love and devotion for the Lord and for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and going on adventures with her family. She will be remembered by her constant smile, positive outlook on life and constant care, concern and empathy for others.
Judy was preceded in death by her father; brother, Denny Myles. She is survived by her mother; her husband; 2 children, Lyle (Mieke) Patrick and Angie (Don) Frankart, and 4 grandchildren, Annika, Evelyn, Drew Patrick and Isabelle Frankart. She is also survived by her brother, Ken (Diane) Myles; sister, Peg (Tom) Kern; sisters-in-law, Connie (Bob) Bostleman and Pat (Richard) Myers as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple St., Liberty Center, OH on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 3:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1075 Glenwood Ave., Napoleon, OH on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Peter Marcis Officiating. Burial will follow at Heath Cemetery.
