Kay Lynn Flanagan, age 74, of Lambertville, Michigan passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, in her home. She was born December 6, 1939, in Sylvania to Frank and Lois Prettyman. She enjoyed square dancing, cards and was an avid reader. Kay was also active in the Rebekah Lodge where she was a Past Chief Matriarch. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the IOOF.

The widow of John Francis Flanagan, she was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wade Prettyman. Surviving are her children, Charlena Beach (Jake) Crutchley, Dawn Marie (Chris) Dickson, Mark Edward (Beth) Beach, Shandra Lea (Leo) Lott and James Allen (Diane) Townsend; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Jeanne Prettyman.

Friends may visit the family after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) where memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Save the Children, Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Condolences may be sent to the family at
