Leo J. "Bosco" Rombkowski Jr., age 82, of Toledo passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Sylvania Care and Rehab with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 9, 1930, in Toledo, OH to Leo and Irene (Mikolaczyk) Rombkowski Sr. Leo worked in sales for several institutions, including a cemetery, monument company, and a private resort. A proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps, Leo fought in the Korean War, was injured by a land-mine and awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Buddy Frankowski Post 5530 and American Legion Conn-Weissenberger Post 587. His memberships also included the Sylvania Loyal Order of Moose and the Toledo Elks Lodge 53. Leo had a very outgoing personality and cherished spending time with family and friends. He was a talented dancer and loved playing cards. Known for always looking good - he liked nice cars and was a sharp dresser. He was a parishioner of Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Leo is survived by his wife, Ruby Tamara (Licata) Rombkowski; daughters, Jan Wilder, Judy Rombkowski and Joy (Al) Hoppe-Kolcheska; step-sons, Jeffrey Haye, Darrin (Jody) Haye and David (Laura) Haye; brother, Dick "Rambo" Rombkowski; sister-in-law, Carole June Licata; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Leona Kaufman and Ruth Beale; sister-in-law, Theresa Rombkowski, and brothers-in-law, Emmanuel Licata and Ernest Licata.

Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., where members of the Toledo Elks Lodge 53 will lead a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. The Lucas County Burial Corps will lead Military Honors on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A procession to Historic St. Patrick Church will follow for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
