Madeline K. ALDRICH

ALDRICH Madeline K. Madeline K. Aldrich, 69, of Fremont, died on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Valley View Health Care Center. She was born on August 19, 1941, in Fremont to Urban and Juanita A. (Dillow) Haslinger. Madeline was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and Mercy College of Nursing in Toledo with a RN degree and went on to receive her OCN certification. On November 17, 1962 she married Paul LaMar Aldrich at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg and he survives in Fremont. Madeline was a registered nurse specializing in Oncology at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon and later worked at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Rossford. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fremont. Most of all Madeline loved her family and also reading, gardening, travel and quilting. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Patrick (Chris) Aldrich of New York, NY, Nicole (David) Haghiri of Catawba Island, Kelley (Michael) Kelbley and Stacy (Shane) Bilger, both of Fremont; grandchildren, Nate, Christopher, Gabriel and Aubrey Haghiri, Joshua, Derek and Emma Kelbley, Shelby, Hanna and Whitney Bilger; siblings, Regina (Terry) Moritz of Glendale, AZ, Susie (Richard) Arquette of Fremont, Barbara (Richard) Good of Fremont and Urban (Diane) Haslinger of Bowling Green. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be on Monday, January 31, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Herman - Kinn - Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gibsonburg at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Heartland Hospice in Madeline's memory.
