Mary Lou Krause, age 82, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, November 3, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born October 4, 1930, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky to Howard and Thelma (Mark) Cline.
Mary Lou was a cook at Valleywood Golf Club, Grandma's Kitchen, and the Maumee Youth Center, where she retired in 1995. She was a wonderful pie baker, who enjoyed playing euchre and poker, and fishing for Muskie up north with her late husband, Jerry.
Mary Lou was a member of the Swanton VFW
Post #8598 and Swanton American Legion Post #479 Ladies Auxiliary, Swanton Elks, and the Delta Eagles.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Victoria (Ernest) Raker of Delta, OH, Thomas Householder of Swanton, OH, Jeff (Grace) Householder of Swanton, OH, Carol Falkey (Bob Slagle) of Swanton, OH, Mark (Deb) Householder of Swanton, OH, and Karl Krause of Kingman, AZ; 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thomas Householder; second husband, Jerry Lee Krause; step-daughter, Cindy Krause; twins, Sherry and Terry Householder, and son-in-law, David Falkey.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.
