Norman J. Gressman, 84, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg on Saturday, August 3, 2013, surrounded by his family. Norm served in the US Navy from Oct. 20, 1948-Oct. 13, 1952, aboard the U.S.S. Muliphen. Norm worked many places as a tool and die maker, retiring from Gutter Supply. Norm could fix anything with duct tape. He loved going fishing with his family. His life memberships included: Amvets Post #52 and American Legion Post 320. He was also a 50 year member of Oak Harbor Masonic Lodge No. 495 F&AM., Scottish Rite, and Oak Harbor Chapter #162, and Zenobia Shrine.

Norm was preceded in death by his son, Bob and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, June; and children, Dennis, Dean, Danny, Norman, Bill, and Diane; nine grandchildren; siblings, Lucille, John, and Don; many nieces and nephews, and his dogs, Skippy and Digger.

Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., on Thursday, August 8, 2013, beginning at 5 p.m. with Masonic services at 7 p.m. followed by Military Honors. Memorials in Norman's honor may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
