Roberta E. "Robin Wall"
Roberta E. Bockelman, age 55, of Rossford, Ohio, earned her angel wings after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer
. She passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Throughout her illness, Robin never complained and always kept smiling no matter how she felt. Her will to live never wavered. She truly was "our cat with 9 lives". Up until her illness, Robin was a registered nurse and worked at Maumee Bay Dialysis as a charge nurse. Her co-workers and patients became her second family.
Robin was born in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Ruth Wall and grew up in Rossford, Ohio. She graduated from Rossford High School in 1976. She adored her two children and four granddaughters. She especially loved the summer months when they could all gather at their home to swim and have cookouts. Robin also enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing euchre, and her trips to the casino. She married William Bockelman in 1995. Bill stayed by her side to take care of her so she could stay at home towards the end of her journey. She was very grateful to him for this.
Surviving is her husband, William Bockelman; mother, Ruth Wall; children, Rachel (Todd) Long, and Joseph (Amber Bragg) Archambeau II. Also surviving are granddaughters, Madilyn and Makayla Archambeau and Gabrielle and Alexis Long; siblings, Timothy (Virginia) Wall, Richard (Darren LaShelle) Wall Jr., Cynthia (Tim) Selz and Deborah Wolfe; nieces and nephews, Erica Spino, Matthew Wolfe, Sarah King, Lucas Wall, Tyler Selz, and Chris, Elizabeth and Steve Wall, and stepchildren, Holley Bockelman, Kristie Huber and William Bockelman II.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wall; brothers, Gordon Hammers and Jeffery Wall, and all grandparents.
