Shelby J. Rosendale, 74, of Toledo, died at 6:13 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
Shelby was born on February 12, 1938, in Seitz, KY, to the late Edgar Walters and Eva Montgomery. She married James Rosendale and they later divorced.
Survivors include her children, David (Lois) Rosendale of Steubenville, Deborah (Leonard) Risner of Tiffin; granddaughter, Brittany (Doug) Rosendale-Stork of Perrysburg whom she lived her life for; a brother, Ed (Linda) Walters of Clyde; two step-brothers, Lennard (Fay) Montgomery of Fort Seneca, John (Barbara) Montgomery of Green Springs; a sister, Wanda Kendrick of Tiffin; a step-sister, Katherine (Bill) Stout of Kansas, OH, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Shelby retired from Libbey Glass in Toledo and enjoyed painting and crafts.
Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dana Rosendale; sister, Helen Louise Walters, and a step-brother, Edward Earl Montgomery.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Wednesday, from 10:30 - 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
