Theresa Evelyn Delaney, 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on February 26, 1926, in Corry, Pennsylvania, to Edmund and Evelyn (Sullivan) Roach.
She was a graduate of Corry High School and obtained a degree in Cosmetology. She married Guy Delaney and they later moved to Perrysburg, where she was primarily a homemaker. Her husband preceded her, dying in 2008.
Theresa was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she served for many years helping with bereavement meals and rummage sales. She also had a passion for providing meals to friends in need. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by
her daughters, Deborah
(Richard) Murphy and Sara (John) DeCessna; grandchildren, Reshma Derasari, Amol Raval, Jeanette, Joshua, and Rebekah Murphy and John and Laura DeCessna; great-grandchildren, Reyna and Dylan Derasari, and sister, Joan Mennor.
Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.
