ROKICKI

Thomas R. "Tommy Tinner"

Thomas R. Rokicki, 59 years, of Temperance, MI died Sunday, April 20, 2014, after a long year and a half battle with cancer. A sheet metal worker for Local 33, he retired in 2009, after 30 years. The son of Richard and Delores Munich-Bowers, he was born January 2, 1955 in Toledo. His mother, Delores survives him.

Tom attended Holy Rosary and Cardinal Stritch High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from August 1972 until September 1974. After his return, he worked at Jeep for a short while, then entered the Sheet Metal Trades. Tom was always the most requested sheet metal worker for jobs and was respected by all his co-workers. He will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving Tom are his children, Kurt (Caitlin Beals) Rokicki, Cheyanne (Tim Bennett) Rokicki, Sondra (Jason) Cobb, Raymond Rokicki; their mother, Andrea; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kimber, Marloe, and the newest baby due in July; siblings, Michael (Beth) Rokicki, Christine Rokicki, Myron Bowers, and Yvette Vandergrift.

A very special thanks to Tom's love of his life, Elaine Chateau, who unselfishly stood by him and with him until the end. God sent her for a reason and now we know why. We could not have done this without her.
