Miss Osborn was the best teacher I ever had. She made me work for my grade and actually made sure I learned. She was the reason I love the English language. Thank you Miss Osborn. RIP

My good fortune was having Miss Osborn as my English teacher back in the mid 70's at Bowsher H.S.. She was patient and very thorough with us. Well, at least me. May she rest in peace.

Miss Osborn was one of my favorite teachers and mentors. I loved her attitude and freedom of thought. she encouraged her listeners to be engaged in the world. In such a short period of time spent with her on the Bowsher newspaper it followed me through my career.
