Cathy Lynn (Weaver) Leonard, 60, of Defiance, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015, at her home in Defiance Ohio.

She was born April 20, 1955, to Thomas and Noreen (Sipple) Weaver in Camp Lejeune, NC. On January 19, 1973, she married the love of her life, Donald P. Leonard, in Toledo, OH.

As a pastor's wife, she served the Lord Jesus beside her husband for over 30 years in ministry. Cathy was involved in missions as Missionary President on the church board and served on the District Missions Council as treasurer. She loved working with children and was a teacher in Sunday School, Super Kidz ministry, Vacation Bible School, and Jr. Church.

She worked doing what she loved, cleaning houses as the owner operator of "The Preacher's Wife, Cleanliness is Next to Godliness", in Toledo, OH and Defiance, OH for over 30 years.

Cathy loved the outdoors, riding her motorcycle, traveled to almost all 50 states, gardening, and swimming in the pond with her grandkids and dog, Pepper.

Cathy is survived by her loving spouse of 42 years, Don; mother, Noreen Weaver of Toledo, OH; daughter, Shannon (Dave) Kirk of Pataskala, OH; grandchildren, Meaghan, Alexis, Brandon, and Haley; sisters, Sue (Tommy) Banks, Dianne (Jim) Hooven and brothers, Thomas (Danny) Weaver, Mike Weaver, all of Toledo, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Weaver, and sister, Julie Shively of Toledo.

Visitation will be held Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church with Rev. Michael D. Adams officiating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the church of the Defiance Church of the Nazarene or CHP Hospice Defiance.

A memorial mass for Cathy will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at St. Catherine's of Siena in Toledo, OH at 10 a.m.
