Austin Kudzia, age 28, of Toledo passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was a caring, thoughtful person. Some children would bring home puppies, but Austin would bring home friends. They were taken in, fed, and loved. He was a natural athlete who played baseball, basketball, football, and excelled in gymnastics. Austin was a gifted artist who won many art awards. He received his Bachelors degree in Art from the University of Toledo, and was an Art Teacher at St. Pius. He deepened his art education by touring Europe, and studying its great artworks. He was a beautiful soul who taught and lived art, and a guiding force for people in need. He touched many and was loved by all.
Left to honor Austin's memory are his father, James Kudzia; mother, Pam (Jerry) Whitney; sisters, Ashley (Tony) Caputo and Michelle (Stacey) Bridge; nieces, Mariel and Estella Caputo; life love, Ashley Bleckner; many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. Austin followed into the light his grandparents, Victor and Irene Kudzia and Kenneth Bridge, and his uncles, Dave Kudzia and Doug and Wayne Bridge.
A Memorial Service to honor Austin's life will be held Monday, February 11, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, located at 2820 W. Alexis Rd. Toledo, OH 43613.
