Barbara R. (Fey)
On April 10, 2013, God received a new little angel. Barbara R. Killian (Fey) passed away after a short bout with cancer. She was born to Bernard and Delma Fey on April 4, 1933, in Rossford, Ohio. Her journey through life moved her to east Toledo then Fort Knox where she gave birth to her first child before returning to Toledo.
Barbara was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who did a beautiful job at all of these. Barbara was an avid supporter of the MS Society, a former Lady Shriner and past President of the Werner School PTA.
For being only 4'8" and weighing 103# she leaves a great void in the lives of many loved ones. Barbara had a loving family growing up including three brothers, Bernard Jr., Ronald (deceased), Larry (Virginia), as well as three sisters, Donna (Tom) Sawicki, Sandra (Walter) Deeds and Debra Rice.
She leaves behind her loving husband Bob; daughters, Pamela Gallaher and Robin (Riley) Clifford; stepsons, Scott (Hieka) Killian, Stuart (Wendy) Killian, as well as eight grandchildren, Sarah Jones, Kendra (Matt) Simpson, Calan and Colton Clifford, Lucas and Annika Killian and Samuel and William Killian. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Kennedi, Kaysen and Shawn Jones Madeline and Milo Simpson and Carter Clifford.
Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. Friday, April 12, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with funeral services on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to the MS Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
