Betty Erma

Betty E. Caldwell, age 88, of Curtice, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon. Betty was born on August 20, 1924, to Arnold and Matilda (Nissen) Martin in Curtice, Ohio.

She was employed as a Book-Keeper for Bostwick and Braun.

Betty's greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and devoting her life to her family. She was also quite fond of word searches and Milky Ways.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lloyd Caldwell; her parents; brothers, Harold and Leonard, and her son, Russell Caldwell.

Betty is survived by her children, Robert Caldwell and Diane (Randy) Miller; grandchildren, Cari Caldwell, Brodi (Erik LaPlante) Caldwell, Jennifer (Todd) Osborn, Jessica (Josh) Ledford, Stacey and Stephanie Miller, Jenae (Kyle) King, and Kelly Miller. She will also be deeply missed by her 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon Ohio from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. On October 3, 2012, Betty will lie Instate at St. John Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by interment at Williston Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
