Charles Anderson Obituary

Charles "Dusty"

On September 15, 2013, Dusty passed away into our Holy Fathers arms at Hospice of Perrysburg, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family. We had 3 wonderful days of life, love and memories with Dusty to celebrate his life, he was even honored and pinned for his service in World War II by the Air Force Veterans. Dusty never thought of

himself as a hero, but we all thought of him as the greatest husband, father, grandfather and hero of all-time. From the time he left the war, until the 90's, he was Building Trade sales and met many friends through his life journey. Dusty was a member of the Elks, VFW and president of the S.N.O.O.P.Y. Club (Should No Other Organization Provide for Youth). Dusty was a loving husband to Sandy for 38 years (Dusty and Sandy the dirty couple he would say). He will always be remembered for his jokes, laughter and smiles.

He leaves behind sisters, Shirley Nowak and Gail Stevens; wife, Sandy;

children, John (Sandy) Mark, Paul, Bill (Becky) Grove and daughter, Michelle (Dave) Tellam, along with fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and a very special father-son relationship with his grandson, Richard Peace.

We will all miss him so very much and would like to celebrate his life in private (at his request) therefore there will be no public viewing. The family requests that memorials be sent to Hospice of

Perrysburg due to their

wonderful thoughtfulness, caring and love through our time of grief.
