I only knew Charlie for a few years, but always looked forward to working with him, or just bumping into him at Flight Safety. His spirit, calm demeanor, and crisp sense of humor were always refreshing.

he loss of Charlie strikes close to my heart. While we have only spoken a couple of times in the last 50 years, he was still a memorable person in my life. I remember him coming to my house to visit. He would always go chat with my father as he worked on something on the farm first. I always admired him especially for that.
