Deena and Family:
Julie and I are very saddened by your sudden and shocking loss. Being part of your lives while pastoring at New Harvest saw Dan enter the ministry full time where his passion for young people came to fruition. He was more than a staff member for me...he was a friend. His impact on the youth was wide ranging and felt even after the kids grew up. He will be sorely missed by all. Our love and prayers are with you as you grieve and experience this difficult challenge ahead. God's promise is sure - He is with you always.

I was shocked to hear of the passing of your loving husband Dan. We have fallen out of touch over the years, but i have never forgotten either you or Dan. I send you all the sympathy and wish you and your family all the strength in the world to pull through this tough and trying time. I hope that time will ease the tremendous pain that your are feeling.

The D'Clute family were an important part of growing up at Grace in "The Kings Court". He will forever be missed! I always got a smile and a huge hug from him-He always called me Shorty!

D'Clute family,
I have found myself thinking of you often throughout these past few days. I'm praying for you and I'm sorry for your sadness. The memories I have from years ago in the King's Court as a youth leader with Dan, and at Grace in general, were life-changing & significant years in my life...and you all were a part of them in one way or another. I know the Lord will pour out his love on you during this difficult time and see you through it.

Dearest D'Clute family, I am so terribly sorry to hear of the loss of Dan. As I recall the few years that Dawn (Niederhauser) and I spent with your kids in "The King's Court" back in the 80's, I have such fond memories of them and for me especially Dan. He was deeply loved by others and loved others deeply.

Dear Ruth & family, I am so sorry for your loss. Fred Smith finally got a hold of me and told me. We moved to Versailles, Kentucky 40383, 402 Quail Run Rd. I wish I could be there for you and his wife, even though I didn't know him very well. But i always enjoyed your letters at Christmas about your family. He is one of the richest men we know, he has earned the love and respect of so many people. Always there for them and forever changing their lives. He leaves behind the greatest gift of all, heart warming memories. Deena, you, Dan and the girls have been a welcome and wonderful asset to Kortney and so many teens, I pray god will be good to all of you.

There is nothing no one can do, there is no one to blame, things just happen, but we like to think they happen for a reason. The only thing we can do is grow and learn from this we may have to change our ways a little look at life differently, wether that be in a good or bad way but at the end of the day the only thing we can do is remember. Dan was such a good guy for me he was my mentor in life, Deena and Dan and the youth group was the best thing that could ever happen to me i will never forget all the fun and not so fun times we shared together. Dan will always be remembered in my heart.

Ruth, Deena, Jaqlyn and Jordyn, Donnie, David, Tami and Teri,
I can't even tell you how saddened I was when my mom called me and told me the news yesterday. Danny, Donnie, Brian, the twins, me, we all grew up together. He was a wonderful, gentle soul, who will be missed greatly. I did not know him in the last several years, but the basis was already there for him to be a wonderful, caring, funny, inspiring individual. I know his congregation's grief will be dwarfed only by your own. I always liked Danny. I am sorry for his young daughters and wife; I didn't know them, but I am sure they are just great people, as Danny was. I am sad and thinking of you in Florida.

Deena, you have held me up so many times with your encouraging words of faith! Now, I am soo sorry to know that it is my time to hold you up! You have been a "rock" for me and so many others that know and love you and I'm sure I can speak for alot of us by letting you know that "we got your back"!
